BarWars LLC Beer Pong Challenge 2011 Rules

OFFICIAL COMPETITION GUIDELINES

The contest shall be based on a double elimination bracket tournament with one overall winner for $200.00 each week for 1st place and a $50 bartab for 2nd place for the first 16 weeks. Each winning team during the 16 weeks will be qualified for the finals on 17th week on Tuesday May 24th 2011. In the event the same team wins first place more then one week then the first place team will be awarded the $200.00 and the second place team will be awarded that weeks spot in the finals on the 17th week. The overall winning team on the 17th week will win $1,000.00.

Rules

-Each Beer Pong Team shall arrive at the venue at 10pm. The official meeting will start at 10:45pm and no teams will be allowed to compete that night after arriving after 11pm.

Qualifying Rounds: February 1st - May 17th 2011.

1. You can lean as far as you want as long as you are not touching the table.

2. Bounces are worth 1 cup, so no swatting, fingering or blowing.

3. If you make both balls in your opponent’s cups, you get 1 ball back.

4. You get 2 automatic re-racks on 3 & 1 (Can be done in the middle of the round).

5. If it takes you 2 shots to make the last cup then your opponents get 2 shots (2 misses) to make the last cup. If it takes you 1 shot to make the last cup, then your opponents get 1 shot (1 miss) to make their cups.

6. Overtime is 3 cup redemption (Triangle formation).

7. Last Rule- DISTRACTIONS BEHIND THE TABLE ARE WELCOMED!

-If you or your opponents knock over a cup... IT COUNTS (No snipering on last cup)!

-Each team will have one "warning" on the rules (Let the organizer know if there has been a warning issued for a team). On any second offense, the opposing team will be awarded to remove a cup of their choice.

-In the event of double over time, each teammate must "call" their shot and sink that exact shot to count. If they sink the wrong cup, the cup will not count.

-For the finals on May 24th 2011, the games will be ten cups with 3 automatic re-racks on 6, 3 &1.

-ALL ORGANIZERS JUDGEMENTS ARE FINAL!
